Around 1568, the world's black tea originator Lapsang Souchong was born in Tongmu, Wuyi Moutain, China. At that time, the Jiang ancestor of Zhengshantang who moved to Tongmu from Henan missed the processing time of the tea leaves because of the Ming Soldier stationed. The ancestors of Jiang Family rolled the tea and then baked it with the Masson pine, which made the world’s earliest Black tea - Lapsang Souchong.
